HAVAIANAS

The first pair of footwear by the well known Brazilian brand Havaianas was born in 1962 and was inspired by the typical Japanese sandals, the Zori, made of fabric straps and rice straw soles. This inspired Havaianas to produce all their Flip-Flop foot-bed with a textured rice pattern, an unmistakable (and iconic?) feature.

Since 1990, the brand has expanded their trends with colored sandals, Havaianas Baby collections, Slim models, Soul or Wellingtons collections.

Sparkle manages the press and media relations for Havaianas in Switzerland, and coordinates photo-shoots, ensuring that the features or items noticed by magazines or bloggers are well documented and showcased. Sparkle’s role is to increase the brand’s visibility in the Swiss fashion and lifestyle market.
